Product Details

This is an outstanding vintage early 1990s Catherine Bacon Vintage Evening coat in a luxe black velvet with beautiful contrasting topstitching on white & black mohair/wool and sequins at the collar and cuffs. We especially love the way the  coat ties at the side and the quilted velvet through the waist area.  This sensational coat is labeled a size 2 but that sizing means that it is a size Medium/Large or a modern day US size 10/12.

Catherine Bacon textiles are all unique and her pieces have been featured at Obiko, Neiman Marcus, Takashimaya and Bergdorf Goodman. We love the way she mixes textures and fabrics and the beautiful way her designs fit! This coat is an exceptional example of the attention to detail in her work!
